Most of us dream the unrealistic dream of living in a fantasy home or an idyllic setting. In the series Irrealities (2016-17) architectural images sourced from old books were cut up and reassembled into places that exist in our dreams. Further paint and pen layers push the irrational and unrealistic aspects of architecture and the imagination. During the process of reintegrating the squares, a new architecture was built that is still recognizable - they still reveal a sense of place or identifiable heritage - while being off, not quite right.
